Valentine's Day is fast approaching. I think almost everyone knows that it falls on February 14 of each calendar year. There is another Valentine's Day falls on the fifteen day of the Chinese New Year or Chap Goh Mei, also known as the Oriental Valentine's Day. This has prompted me to design a Valentine's Day Greeting Card. Since this coming Chinese New Year is a Wooden Sheep Year, I decided to use the sheep as the main character of my Valentine's Day Greeting Card. Below is my design for your eyes.
Spring festival or the Lunar New Year is just around the corner. 2015 year is the Year of the Goat or Ram. The Sheep is thought to be the most feminine sign of the zodiac. The Sheep is artistically talented and has a great sense of fashion. This has prompted me to design a Little Sheeps Collection.
As usual I dug my digital album to look for inspirations. I went to Xinjiang China in 2012 for holidays. I went to Nalati grassland, a sub-alpine meadow of the Gongnaisi Grassland. It is also the fourth largest grassland of the world. It is also known as 'The Sky Grassland' due to its high altitude and steep terrain. I saw a big herd of sheeps, cows and horses on the charming grassland. Apart from the lush green grass, blue sky and white clouds, what I could still remember fondly are the two Kazakh kids who invited me to take picture with them and their sheeps. Therefore, in my collection, I included sheeps, clouds, moon and stars, which is very suitable for your little ones' garment.
Here's my collections and the photographs for your eyes.
